We headed out of the lab and into the art studio! Shockingly, we do in fact have some artistic capabilities! Afterwards we headed out for some Fondue and our traditional White Elephant gift exchange!

After a pandemic hiatus, the Department of Dermatology held their annual holiday party at the Water Club. We dressed to the nines to celebrate with the other labs and clinical faculty in the Department!

Junior Lab Retreat

The Piskounova, Chandwani, and Dow labs had a fun retreat near the Upper Delaware River. Some insightful science discussions from senior Graduate students and the attending PIs. And what retreat is complete without a visit to the local alpaca farm and a S’more or two? Can wait for the next one!

Botanical Garden Field Trip

Spring has sprung, and we decided to get out of the lab to stop and smell the roses! We had so much fun exploring the New York Botanical Gardens and the Yayoi Kusama Cosmic Nature Exhibit.

3-Year Picnic

In early July, we picnicked at central park to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of the lab! We found a nice spot in sheep meadow. There was lots of food, sun, and fun on our day off from lab!
